UPS Deliveryman, Terry Spiers, never has a dull moment working his Brooklyn route.
That's because he works another job at the same time.
Terry has been on this Crown Heights route for 23 years, serving the same families.
He says after getting to know them so well, he realized he better start putting his connections to good use.
He's become quite popular as a matchmaker, also known as a Shidduch, in this Orthodox Jewish neighborhood.
He schmoozes with his customers every day.
After trying for years to make a match, it finally happened.
Earlier this year, Terry set up two of his young customers who just got married.
"Make a delivery at the house of Zevy Goldin, I said to the mom, 'Would Zevy like to get married? I have a nice girl for him,'" said Terry. "And that's where it all went on."
Newlyweds Zev and Chana Goldin invited cameras into their home to talk about their unbelievable story.
"People ask if it's a joke. Yeah, people ask if I made it up. After shrugging him off several times it was his persistence that actually got us to actually go out," said Zev.
Terry was at the couple's June wedding and their engagement party, where special cookies were made featuring UPS.
"Somebody being nice and just taking an initiative and talking to you and suggesting you go out. He definitely changed two people's worlds."
News 12 Brooklyn's reporter, Dana Arschin reports.
