William Joyce and Christina Ellis, co-illustrators of the latest Moonbot book, The Numberlys. Academy Award
winning filmmaker, bestselling author and animation pioneer, Joyce cofounded Moonbot Studios in Shreveport, La in 2009 to create films, apps, books, games and other transmedia entertainment.
Christina Ellis is an illustrator, telling fantastic stories through her characters and their worlds. Christina joined the legion of Moonbots after studying illustration at Ringling College of Art and Design.
The Numberlys is a picture book that follows 5 friends who live in a world with no alphabet, only numbers. These friends, 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 set out on a journey to create each letter of the alphabet, bringing color and creativity to their world. The Numberlys is a kid-friendly homage to Fritz Lang's Metropolis.
