PURGE your PURSES and DONATE to The Salvation Army Women's Auxiliary.
Clean your closets and donate all new and gently used purses to The Salvation Army Women's Auxiliary for the 5th Annual Purse Auction to be held on Saturday, August 26th 10am-1pm at Events on the Red, 2000 Reeves Marine Dr., Bossier City, LA 71112, (located on Arthur Teague Pkway across from Centurylink Center.)
Purses can be dropped off at 200 E. Stoner Ave. in Shreveport at the administration building 9am-4pm by August 14.
The Salvation Army Women's Auxiliary serves as a fundraising and volunteer service group to support the many programs of The Salvation Army.
All donations and funds generated are used locally.
DIG DEEP into your closet and pass your purses to us, so that we can resell them and put the proceeds to use in the community.
Monetary donations are also accepted to help offset purse auction costs.

You are invited…to the Salvation Army Women's Auxiliary Annual Fundraiser “Purses for a Purpose” purse auction.
- • Set for Saturday, August 26,10am-1pm, at Events On The Red, located on Arthur Teague Parkway across from Century Link.
- • Be sure to come by and shop for top designer handbags including Coach, Michael Kors, Dooney & Bourke and many other highly-sought-after designers.
- • In addition to the purse sales, there will be a silent auction and live auction.
- • As always in our Louisiana culture, there will be LAGNIAPPE items of jewelry, gift cards, and other items donated by local couture stores, boutiques, department stores and fashion-savvy individuals to add extra spice to the event.
All proceeds from the event are used to sponsor the various programs of The Salvation Army of Northwest Louisiana.
We want you, your friends, family, and co-workers to join us in "Doing the Most Good" for our community!
Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 at the door, which includes a light brunch and beverage.
Tables of (8) eight are also available for purchase for $100 and this option comes with guaranteed seating and a free swag bag.
