April 20, 2017 - It seems the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs have finally turned a corner. Winners of 8 of their last 11.
A big part of the change has been the addition of Nate Harris as a starter.
It's allowed them to do different things with their bullpen.
Another big change is the 'Dogs are finally starting to hit the ball like they did at the beginning of the season.
Coach Burroughs thinks there's also something else at work.
Lane Burroughs said, "I think they're playing loose. They're having fun. I think there is a fine line between having fun and playing loose, and being silly and being a clown. I think our guys tip-toe up to that sometimes, but I'd much rather our guys come to the ball park with energy and laughing and having fun and enjoying it and not dreading it. I think our guys are just enjoying themselves, the coaches are enjoying being around them. They're having fun and playing loose. They're believing again."
