Byrd looks to keep momentum going against Southwood

The Byrd Yellow Jackets look like they righted the ship after last weeks win over Captain Shreve. They're now 3-2 on the season and now turn their attention to the Southwood Cowboys. Coach McClain and company may be winless so far this season but coach Suggs says they're not a team that should be taken lightly.

"Coach Suggs said: Well theyve got some very good athletes and despite their record Coach McClain's got them playing hard theyre competing theyve been close in some ball games and have had some opportunities to win I know hes had some injured players and thats always tough to deal with look at them and see them competing and playing and the athletes are moving around theyre doing the right things and as long as theyre doing that it gives them a chance."

Blake Wilson said: Right now we're 3-2 id like to have been 5-0 but I think coming off of that big win against shreve we're feeling good coming to southwood and the rest of the season."
