Cameron Cook deemed Mudbugs Tour Guide for Alaska Trip

October 17, 2017 - The Mudbugs are looking good at the top of the South Division with 18 points and a 9-3 record. The Bugs are coming off of a split series at home against the Corpus Cristi Icerays. They are back on the road coming up. this time all the way to Alaska. The trip  will be a reunion for Cameron Cook who played for both Kenai River and Fairbanks in his NAHL career; winning a Robertson cup with Fairbanks last season. Coach Zirnis is happy to have Cook with the Mudbugs and jokes about his skills as the potential tour guide.
"Karlis Zirnis said: You know we'll test it hes played for both teams out there been traded and now he's down here and we're lucky to have him here and lucky to have him as a good hockey player so we'll see how he is as a tour guide.

Cameron Cook said: When I first went there three years ago nobody told me about the darkness so I had no idea so I walked out the next morning the first morning I woke up there it was 10:30 and it was absolutely pitch black and I was confused I didn't know what was going on so I ran back inside like why is it still dark."
