When asked who he picked in his bracket, it was a no-brainer:
"You know I picked us to win," Couisnard said. "For the million-dollar bracket I picked Wichita St. I'm a homer all the way."
Couisnard doesn't just talk a big tournament, he's played in it. In 2006, he guided the Shockers to the Sweet 16 before bowing out to George Mason.
"I tell guys all the time there's no other experience in basketball like winning in the tournament."
Fellow Shreveport Maverick Alex Sanders can relate to winning in the big dance. During a four-year career at Louisville, Sanders made three NCAA tournament appearances, including a run to the Elite 8.
Sanders and Couisnard try to remain objective, but it's no shocker who's in the cards to win their NCAA bracket.
