Grambling Learning from Road Test

November 6, 2017 - The Grambling State Tigers staying undefeated in conference play, but it wasn't easy.

After Grambling led by 15 at halftime, Pine Bluff came back and cut the lead to five, forcing the Tigers to make a defensive play to win the game.

Grambling did, taking it 31-26, but it's the first regular season conference game for the Tigers since October 17, 2015 to be decided by single digits.

Broderick Fobbs said, "You learn from every situation, and I thought that that's the type of game that will help them learn some things because at the end of the day it's very difficult to win every week. We learn from a win, and we learn when we lose games as well. So, for us it's about continuing to learn and be better next week, and that's what we'll do. We'll be a better football team next week."

The Tigers are back on the road this week against Alabama State.
