LAKE CHARLES, La - For the second straight year, the Arcadia boys' season ends at the hands of Metairie Park Country Day.

This year, the Cajuns took out the Hornets in the semifinal round of the class one playoff bracket.

Arcadia found themselves down nine points at the half, before chipping away in the third and fourth quarters, trimming the deficit to five points with less than two minutes to play. But MPCD star Scott Plaisance was too much for the Hornets inside, as the Cajuns grinded out a 53-46 win on their way to a second straight trip to the Class one state title game.

Metairie Park will play the winner of Madison Prep vs Lafayette Christian in the championship game on Saturday at 2pm from Burton Coliseum in Lake Charles, LA.
