Michael Vicks visit was a controversial one, but he brought a lot of smiles to Independence Stadium during his free clinic on Friday. With a lot of people upset by his visit, some residents appreciated him spending times in the ArkLaTex.

“I'm glad that the mayor’s office asked me to be involved in coaching these guys. I think it's a great thing whenever these professional athletes come around. He'll probably talk about some of the mistakes he's made in the past and the redemptions and opportunities he's got for extra chances and how he's making the most of it, but the main thing is here's a guy that a lot of kids look up to. He's one of the greatest athletes in our country and our kids look up to him. I think that if he's willing to stop by and deliver a positive message to these kids I think it's a great thing,” said Parkways head football Coach David Feaster.
