Corey Homer: We've got some open spots available right now so that's what we're working towards kids are working hard they're going and competing a lot of encouragement

Jory Parys: When it comes to the Mount Pleasant Tigers coach Corey Homer knows encouragement is key in several areas. From filling the shoes of several graduated seniors to feeding the mindsets of continuing an upward trend for the program.

Corey Homer: it could go any direction and there's great staffs in our district there's great athletes in our district we're just looking we'll take it one step at a time and see if we can do it and see if we can knock on the door and get into the playoffs again this year

Jori Parys: Coming off of  0-10 and 2-8 seasons in 2014 and 2015, getting a taste of the playoffs last year provided hope and that's something coach homer is utilizing when putting together the 2017 roster. So far, he's proud of the work his kids have put forth.

Corey Homer: We had a great spring a lot of kids got stronger we monitor those things throughout our program and our kids saw some great gains in the off seasons that continued on in the summer time and we're very proud of their efforts.
