Prep football teams around the ArkLaTex officially start practice next week. Among those teams is the Northwood Falcons. The team lost 30 seniors last year, but filled this years roster nicely. A lot of the players have a common goal, to improve from last years record. A season that is tough to improve on but a goal within reach.

"We had a good season last year, 10-2, went through the district undefeated. But, I think that's a goal they need to set. That they want to be better than the class before them. We definitely want to go through districts undefeated again. That was a great accomplishment last year and we'd love to do that again," said Head Coach Jim Gatlin.
