After a 6-4 season, and a first round playoff loss Fair Park feels like they have unfinished business to take care of.
We got unfinished business to do.
Last year the Indians started 6-0 but wore down late in the season.
We started out 6-0 last year so many guys were going both ways. We had 11 guys going both ways.
Eleven guys. That means the starters were on the field for a full 60 minutes.
After 6 games it was like they had played 12 games because they're going both ways. Like somebody going one way. It's hard.
The Indians hope to set the tone with defense this season.
That's what wins you games. You've got to hit people and you've got to hit them and bring 11 guys. To me that's demoralizing to another team.
We just like to swarm to the ball. Once you get up from the pile you're going to see 7 or 8 of us getting up from the pile too.
Coach Greene has a special bond with the senior class.
They are like my children. These guys. They're such a good group of guys. You almost want to graduate with them, because we're all so close and they're just good kids.
He's just fun to be around. You see him at school, he's happy down the hallways. He's just a good football coach and great person to be around.
Coach Greene man awesome. He treats us like we are his own sons. We are all family.
A bond that will keep this team together through good times and bad.
