Zeke Elliott Suspension Back in Play

October 12, 2017 - The federal court has ruled in favor of the NFL meaning the 6-game suspension for running back Zeke Elliott is back in play. Now this is a situation that's a little fluid at this point, there could be another injunction filed at a different court that could put Elliott back on the field. It ooks like the Cowboys may have to move forward without their star for the next month and a half.
Mickey Spagnola:
"I absolutely believe that, I thought they were saving him, wanting to make sure he was healthy, and one of the reasons they decided to keep him. There was a lot of talk with Zeke being able to start , and a lot of 'What do you need Darren McFadden and Alfred Morris, and all of these runningbacks?' Well they kept him just in case. This was their safety net. Now it's time to use the insurance policy."
