A second hostage from the northeast Louisiana bank standoff has died of her injuries.
Bank employee Ledean McDaniel died at the hospital one day after being shot during a standoff in St. Joseph.
McDaniel was one of three employees taken hostage Wednesday by Fuaed Abdo Achmed, 20, at the Tensas State Bank.
Ahmed released one of the hostages during negotiations.
Police say he shot and killed one of the two remaining hostages when police stormed the building.
Achmed was killed by police during the standoff.
