Shreveport Police have arrested three men accused of beating and robbing a man outside of the Walmart on East Bert Kouns Industrial Loop.

According to Cpl. Marcus Hines with the Shreveport Police Department, the alleged crime took place just after 10:30 p.m. on Monday evening in the Walmart parking lot located in the 1600 block of East Bert Kouns Industrial Loop.

Hines says when officers arrived at the scene they were informed that an adult male was attacked and robbed of this wallet by three men from Alexandria, Louisiana. The suspects made off with a small amount of cash.

The victim suffered facial fractures in the crime and was knocked unconscious, said Hines.

Authorities began searching the immediate area. They quickly located, then apprehended one of the suspects after a brief foot chase.

Hines says the other two suspects were arrested a short time later at a nearby apartment complex.

The suspects, Brian Allen, Marcus Taylor, both age 19, and Eric Parker, 18, all were booked into the Shreveport City Jail. All face second degree robbery charges.

The victim was treated and later released from a local hospital.
