Arrest warrant obtained for suspect in restaurant robbery

Authorities have obtained an arrest warrant for a local man accused of robbing an eatery in Shreveport’s Cedar Grove neighborhood last weekend.

Authorities have obtained an arrest warrant for a local man accused of robbing an eatery in Shreveport’s Cedar Grove neighborhood last weekend.

 

The warrant charges Keountaye Moody, 21, with one count of armed robbery. His bond has been set at $150,000.

 

At approximately 7:45 p.m. on December 21, 2013, Shreveport Police patrol officers responded to a reported armed robbery at Lil John’s Seafood Restaurant in the 7700 block of Linwood Avenue.

 

Upon arrival, officers learned four male suspects, at least one of whom was armed with a handgun, entered the business with their faces covered by bandannas. One of the men jumped the counter and opened the cash register removing the money tray. The robbers then made off with an undisclosed amount of cash. No one was injured during this robbery.

 

Based on information gathered during their ongoing investigation, detectives were able to develop Moody as a suspect and today they procured the arrest warrant charging Moody.
