Caddo Schools superintendent vote ends with tie

<br>No one has been chosen as&nbsp;the new Caddo Parish Superintendent&nbsp;with a tie&nbsp;vote of&nbsp;6 to 6 .&nbsp;&nbsp;

No one has been chosen as the new Caddo Parish Schools superintendent with a tie vote of 6 to 6.  The tie is between John Dilworth and Mary Nash Robinson.

Dilworth is a former Caddo Schools administrator.  He was also the principal of Huntington and Fair Park High Schools.  His last position was as superintendent of the East Baton Rouge School System.  

Robinson is a 40 year veteran of the district.  She holds the position of Chief of Staff for the school system. 

Current superintendent Dr. Gerald Dawkins contract expires August 11th.  In January the board voted eight to four not to renew his contract.

The board is set to meet in August to appoint an interim superintendent.
