A suspect who is linked to a series of vehicle burglaries in Bossier City faces more charges.
A suspect who is linked to a series of vehicle burglaries in Bossier City faces more charges.

Monday afternoon investigators say Charles Blue, 37, will be charged with additional counts of burglary after a search of a home where Blue occasionally stayed in Shreveport.

Detectives seized suspected stolen property including multiple handguns, knives, GPS navigation systems and wedding rings.

Two of the handguns recovered were stolen in recent vehicle burglaries in Bossier City.

Last week, Blue was arrested and booked into the Bossier City jail, after being caught entering a vehicle parked in a secure area outside the repair shop at Landers Dodge in the 2700 block of Benton Rd.

The arrest came during a surveillance operation conducted in response to three incidents earlier this month at the same location.

In each of the instances, the repair shop was broken into and multiple vehicles were burglarized.

Investigators also seized Blue's vehicle and recovered dozens of other items that are believed to have been taken in the burglaries including two Rolex watches, gift cards, iPods, collectible gold coins, tools and flashlights.
