Charges mount against armored car employee

A guard for a local armored car company employee who was arrested for felony theft in Caddo Parish now faces a similar charge in Bossier Parish.
A guard for a local armored car company employee who was arrested for felony theft in Caddo Parish now faces a similar charge in Bossier Parish.

Wednesday morning Robert Posey, 34, of Waskom, Texas was taken into custody by detectives with the Bossier Financial Crimes Task Force.

Posey, 34, is accused of stealing two deposit bags containing a combined total of $12,000 in cash.

Posey, who committed the theft while employed with Loomis US, was initially arrested Tuesday for stealing a deposit bag containing $60,000.

All three bags were located inside a Bossier City home belonging to a relative of Posey.

Posey has been booked into the Bossier City Jail and charged with felony theft.  His bond has been set at $35,000.
