CoHabitat Foundation celebrates the opening of its kitchen incubator.
The non-profit just received its catering permit. Now, caterers and up and coming
chefs can rent its kitchen for an hourly rate. The organization hopes to have
people using the kitchen as early as next week.
"They can use it for catering for a wedding, or they can have a food truck, any kind of catering event. They can use our event space and cater out of that space as well, so it just basically gives caterers a new option, a legal option to be able to grow their business,” said John Grindley, Executive Director of CoHabitat Foundation.
To use the kitchen, a person must have a food handler's card, liability insurance, and a business license. Here’s a link to the application.
