A special meeting takes place in Bossier city

It's a governing body that regulates public utilities- and today they met in a local city for the first time ever.

Wednesday morning The Louisiana public service commission held it's May meeting in Bossier City.
Issues on solar power, pipeline abandonment, and others matters were discussed in the meeting. Holding the meetings outside Baton Rouge was the idea of District 5 Commissioner Foster Campbell. Campbell believes meeting around the state helps members and staff better issues the commission faces and makes it easier for people to take part.
