Kyle Johnson, 22, was taken into custody Wednesday morning by Texarkana, Arkansas Police.

Johnson was arrested after a confidential informant supplying information to the TAPD Criminal Investigation Division said he was introducing contraband into the jail.  Investigators believe Johnson planned to get marijuana and tobacco into the facility. 

Johnson has been charged with furnishing, possessing or using prohibited articles in a correctional facility which is a felony crime.
