The Bossier Parish Sheriff's Office is paying tribute to members of its Posse who served their country during World War II.

The veterans will be recognized with a segment of video interviews from those who have been dubbed "The Greatest Generation" for growing up during the Great Depression and fighting in World War II.

Bossier Sheriff Julian Whittington said, "As we prepare for our 2nd Annual "In God We Trust" rally on July 4th, we wanted to pay special tribute to our veterans who serve on our Posse, especially those who fought for our freedom during World War II."

The six men, ranging in age from 86 to 94, discuss the war and life at home, patriotism, service on the Posse and their faith.  You can view the videos on the Bossier Sheriff's Office Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/pages/Bossier-Parish-Sheriffs-Office/432144946892537.
