Some students in Shreveport get a special sneak peek.
On Wednesday, the C-SPAN bus came to town.
It stopped at three places including Byrd High School.
The bus is interactive and allows students to get a hands-on learning experience.
It's purpose is to teach about how one can get politically involved.
Those in charge say it's fun for everyone, especially when someone gets excited.
Rachel Katz, the C-SPAN Marketing Specialist says the bus has been touring for about 20 years.
"You can tell when students get really interested," said Katz. "You have some students who are wanting to get involved or are in school politics and to show them the different things they can do with C-SPAN is neat. Show them what they can learn, what's going on in Washington D.C. It's really great to see when their interests are peaked."
The bus also stopped at Louisiana State University Shreveport, and Kiwanis of Southeast Shreveport.
