The Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office has arrested a man after he allegedly broke into 20 storage units.

The burglaries happened between Feb. 21 and Feb. 22 at a storage facility on Kay Lane.

Investigators believe Christopher Bailey, 42, cut the locks on the  storage unit doors and took numerous items including furniture, art, clothing and office equipment.

After authorities searched Bailey's apartment they recovered many of the items taken from the storage units.

Bailey fled the area but was recently arrested in Panama City Beach, FL on unrelated charges and extradited back to Caddo Parish.

Bailey was booked into the Caddo Correctional Center and charged with two counts of burglary and one count of illegal possession of stolen things.  He was also charged with one count of motor vehicle theft for a crime investigated by the Shreveport Police Department.

Bailey's bond has been set at more than $260,000.
