Financial problems have forced officials at Domestic Violence Prevention Incorporated to cut jobs and services. The Texarkana Texas based agency helps women who have been victims of domestic violence. The Texarkana Texas police department says in 2013 they responded to nearly six hundred domestic violence related calls. Domestic Violence Prevention Inc. provides a safe shelter, food and other services to help women get back on their feet. The agency says they need to raise twenty-five thousand dollars by the end of the month. If not they will have to cut more jobs or services they currently provide.
