Cured pork, custard and butter infused syrup. It's the bruleed french toast at Cheese Cake Factory 2780 calories and then there's desert.

"3 cheesecakes on for me one for her and one for my husband.

"This is the calorie count for one day this dish"

These items all got an extreme eating award for the center for the science in the public interest.  As did the Mexican restaurant chain Chevy’s, Famous Daves with its  big slab of spare ribs and the red robin burger chain which features monster burgers with the salted caramel milkshake. It's a yearly round up listing the offerings with the most sugar salt fat and calories. The cheesecake factory responded with a statement today saying:

"Many of our guests come in and want to celebrate and not be concerned with calories. Others want to share their dish and a large percentage of our guests take home leftovers for lunch the next day."

"I know i just ate a lot of calories and I love it... It's so good."

"So you want to burn those calories off well 5 hours of jogging for the chicken and pasta dish from the Cheesecake Factory and that reese's peanut butter chocolate cake cheesecake? At least 4 and a half hours of aerobics"

So maybe it gives you pause that the center says one cantadina style steak from Mangianos  is equivalent to eating 9 Mickey D's quarter pounders with a cheeseburger on the side. But diners we talked to say that eating out isn't supposed to be the same as cooking for yourself.

"Salt calories fat, I'm aware of that so I do try to order more reasonable."
