Fight at local casino sends two people to hospital

Bossier City police officers were called to the Horseshoe Casino around 10:30 p.m. Sunday in reference to a fight involving several individuals.
Bossier City police officers were called to the Horseshoe Casino around 10:30 p.m. Sunday in reference to a fight involving several individuals.

The fight appeared to have started in the area of the casino’s swimming pool.

Officers responded to the scene and had control of the situation within several minutes with the assistance of casino security.

Two people were taken to local hospitals due to injuries they received.

The following suspects were arrested:

• Brian Alexander Wilcott, 28, of Shreveport. Charges: Second degree battery, resisting an officer with force and disturbing the peace. Wilcott was booked into the Bossier City Jail.
• James Leroy Jones, 36, of Shreveport. Charges: Disturbing the peace. (Arrested by citation).
• Terrance James Abraham, 23, of Shreveport. Charges: Disturbing the peace. (Arrested by citation).
• Christopher James Bright, 30, of Shreveport. Charges: Disturbing the peace and resisting an officer. (Arrested by citation).
• Brandon Lashay Edwards, 26, of Shreveport. Charges: Resisting an officer. (Arrested by citation).
• Crystal Michelle Jackson, 28, of Shreveport. Charges: Resisting an officer. (Arrested by citation).
