Hope police trying to cut down on drunk drving

They will have a no tolerance policy as Labor Day nears
Statistics show that in Arkansas in 2012 552 people died in car accidents. Out of those accidents 143 of the people killed involved a driver or motorcycle operator with a blood alcohol concentration of .08 or higher. Hope police officials will have more officers on the street looking for people behind the wheel who may be under the influence. The Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over Campaign begins today and ends the first of September.
