President Obama pushed back Monday against criticism of a new deal that will ease sanctions on Iran in return for a slowdown of that country's nuclear program.
President Obama pushed back Monday against criticism of a new deal that will ease sanctions on Iran in return for a slowdown of that country's nuclear program.

Speaking in San Francisco the president noted that "for the first time in a decade we've halted the progress on Iran's nuclear program.  Key parts of the program will be rolled back."

Still, the deal is being criticized by both Democrats and Repubulicans who say Iran was given too much in exchange for too little.
