Kimberly Rusley - Reporter

Kimberly works at NBC 6 as a reporter.
Kimberly Rusley was born and raised in Bossier City, and loves her hometown!  She joined the NBC 6 team in September 2012. Kimberly covers all kinds of stories, but focuses on Bossier City and Bossier Parish government. You can catch her reports during NBC 6 at 5:00 and 6:00.

Prior to joining the NBC 6 team, she worked at KSLA News 12 for five years as a production assistant, web producer and newscast producer. She attends LSU Shreveport, seeking a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications. For many years, Kimberly competed in the Miss Louisiana Scholarship Pageant. She was crowned Miss Bossier City in 2010, and also held the titles of Miss Calcasieu Parish, Miss Spirit of the Red and Miss Black Louisiana.

Community service is something that’s near and dear to her heart. Kimberly loves to sing, travel, volunteer and emcee different events.
