La Tech tabbed No. 3 seed in NIT

After the NCAA passed on the Bulldogs for the big dance, Mike White's squad continues its postseason march in the NIT
RUSTON, La - A disappointing end to the regular season will continue with a postseason consolation prize for Louisiana Tech. The Bulldogs accept an invitation to play in the NIT tournament for the second consecutive year and will face Iona in the first round of the Florida St. quadrant.

Louisiana Tech lost to Tulsa in the Conference USA tournament title game, leaving their NCAA tournament hopes in the hands of the selection committee, who ruled in favor of 68 other teams.

Head coach Mike White's team finished the 2014 regular season with a 27-7 record and were crowned Conference USA regular season champs in their first year as a member of the league.

Game is set for Wednesday, March 19th.
