Thirty years of history comes to an end, as the last three A-10 aircraft leave Barksdale Air Force Base for new homes.  Col John Breazeale, Major Mark Wendrock and Captain Gant Petty are the three pilots who flew these last A-10s to their new homes, today. Hundreds came out to bid farewell to these planes and celebrate their history. These aircraft have called Barksdale AFB home since the early 1980s, and although they are gone now, officials say A-10s will continue keeping our troops safe in war zones.
