Local students celebrate an early Easter and bring joy to others

Kids from Eighty- First Street Early Childhood Education Center came out to the Glen Retirement System to enjoy early Easter festivities.

Over one hundred students celebrate Easter early and put a smile on others faces today.

Kids from Eighty- First Street Early Childhood Education Center came out to the Glen Retirement System to enjoy early Easter festivities.

Each child received a basket full of Easter goodies and then headed out to hunt for eggs.

"Having the students come here is something residents look forward to every year. They get so excited to see joy on their faces to see the Easter bunny and when they see what we prepared for them in their baskets that's something that is really great for the residents to experience with the kids," Says Michelle Roberts, Director of Marketing.

This is the 10th year that the Glen's Community Outreach Program has hosted the Easter celebration.
