A local college is using the summer to educate students on the energy industry. Bossier Parish Community College hosts an "Energy Camp" to teach students the role it plays in Northwest Louisiana. Today, they turned pizza boxes into solar ovens to cook their own food. The hand-on experience teaches camp go-ers about fossil fuels, alternative energies and conservation. This is the 5th year for the camp. Another one is set to begin June 23rd at Southern University in Shreveport.
