Texarkana bank robber arrested

Police are trying to track down a suspect who held up a bank in Texarkana, Texas.
After the surveillance photo of the suspect was circulated by the news media.  Almost immediately Detectives began receiving tips. 

Detectives were able to determine that the suspect was a Robert Russell, 44, of Texarkana, Arkansas. 

Officers responded to a business in the 900 block of Walton Dr. and found Russell possessing a couple of items linking him to the robbery.  Russell was arrested for Robbery and some unrelated warrants and transported to jail.

The robbery happened shortly before 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Capital One in the 4800 block of Texas Blvd.

A white male between the ages of 20 and 40-years-old entered the bank and gave the teller a note demanding money.  The suspect then fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect was wearing a red shirt with the word "Old Navy" on it and khaki pants.
