Muddin' for the Military raises money for veterans

Muddy Bottoms ATV Park held Muddin' for the Military to raise money for outdoor trips for veterans
This weekend at Muddy Bottoms ATV & Recreation Park in Sarepta they were Muddin' for the Military.

Park Manager, Jeff Drost, said "We teamed up with H.O.P.E Outdoor Adventures and Lonestar Warriors outdoors and we raised money to take wounded veterans that have come back from overseas hunting, fishing, whatever they like to do outdoors."

Drost said "July 4th everybody's feeling patriotic, it seems like a perfect time to do this...We're really proud of everything the military does for us, gives us the freedom to do the things we enjoy, mud ridin' being one of them."

Thousands of people showed up and Drost said "Most of our events are jammed packed from the time we open until the time  we close so we always have a lot going on and all that's included, especially the fireworks this weekend when i say it was a top notch fireworks show it was amazing."

Tickets for the event were 55 dollars online and 60 dollars at the gate and the proceeds from that will go to getting those veterans outdoor trips.
