Darren Sharper has been fired by the NFL Network, a spokesman for the network said Saturday (March 1).
His release comes less than 24 hours after the former NFL safety surrendred to Los Angeles police on rape charges.
Here are the charges Sharper is facing: raping nine women and drugging 11 in five states, including two in New Orleans.
He remained in a Los Angeles jail Saturday morning after police in New Orleans obtained a warrant for his arrest.
