Bossier City massage parlor owners hit with prostitution charges

Bossier City Police arrested 28 year-old Yan He Wang and 53 year-old Qing Shao in a prostitution sting.

Two Bossier City massage parlor owners are arrested, hit with prostitution charges.

Bossier City Police arrested 28 year-old Yan He Wang and charged him with pandering. Police also charged 53 year-old Qing Shao with pandering and prostitution by massage.

Detectives say they would coordinate illegal prostitution acts inside the Asian Massage parlor in the 1300 block of Airline Drive.

Vice agents arrested the two on Tuesday after they executed search and arrest warrants at their home and the massage parlor.

Agents also found $12,000 in cash inside the home.

"Our vice unit has really ramped up,” says Sgt. Brian Griffith. “They've been very proactive and very vigilant when it comes to prostitution, so they're ramping up their activities."

Since the beginning of 2014, Bossier City Police have conducted 140 prostitution stings that resulted in 150 arrests.

Police say these arrests were made in connection to a similar investigation involving another massage parlor in Lake Charles apparently ran by Wang.

Wang’s bond is $25,000, and Shao’s bond is $60,000
