Local elementary students get a visit from royalty

Pageant queens competing for the title of Miss Louisiana and Miss Louisiana's Outstanding Teen mentor and entertain students.
Students at Caddo Heights Math/Science Elementary School received a visit from royalty today.

Pageant queens, including Miss Bossier City and Miss Shreveport visited and entertained fourth and fifth graders as part of a community service project.

At different stations, students talked about issues important to them and worked on arts and crafts.

NBC 6 Reporter Kimberly Rusley was presented with a commemorative Miss Bossier City pendant for winning the title in 2010.

All of the pageant queens will go on to compete in the Miss Louisiana and Miss Louisiana’s Outstanding Teen Scholarship Pageants in June.
