Low temps don't stop Christmas shoppers

While chilly temperatures have invaded the ArkLaTex, shoppers still find a way to get to the stores to finish Christmas shopping.

We're 17 days away from Christmas, and the time to get your holiday shopping finished is winding down.

While it's cold outside, shoppers are braving the temperatures to find hot deals inside stores.

"Well, the girls, they really want this phone, this LG phone,” says Shanta Randle. “Hopefully we'll find it at Best Buy today, but there's still more shopping to go."

Randle brought her family to Best Buy in Bossier City in the 40-degree weather to put a dent in her Christmas shopping.

"Gotta get it done,” says Randle. “It's what, three weeks before Christmas?"

Even with the slick roadways and the drop in temperatures, shoppers are still packing the parking lots.

They just have to find ways to stay warm.

"A lot of layers of sweaters, jackets," says Randle.

"The temperature inside the building, the boots, the leggings, sweaters, having a whole bunch of clothes on," says Jadyn Sepulvado, another shopper.

Sepulvado is on the hunt for headphones, and she's not letting the weather stop her.

"No. If I want to shop, I'll shop," says Sepulvado.

After today's shopping expedition, Sepulvado and other shoppers are hoping to knock a few more items off their Christmas get list.
