Shreveport woman wanted for stabbing a man in the library

25 year old Leanthony Hall of Shreveport is recovering from a single stab wound to the upper body.

A Shreveport woman is wanted for stabbing a Shreveport man Friday morning.

The stabbing happened inside the Wallette Branch of the Shreveport Memorial Library.  When police arrived, they found Leanthony Hall, 25, of Shreveport, with a single stab wound to the upper body.  Hall was taken to University Health Medical Center for treatment of injuries which were considered life-threatening. 

According to Shreveport Police, Hall ran into the library while being chased by a group of four individuals.  Police believe Sade Tillman, 26, was a part of the group. They said she followed the man into the library, armed herself with a pair of scissors and stabbed Hall in the upper body.  The woman and the other individuals accompanying her, fled the scene before officers arrived.

Investigators have issued a warrant for Tillman’s arrest, charging her with a single count of attempted second degree murder.  Tillman’s bond is set at $150,000.00.  Persons with information about this crime or the whereabouts of Tillman are urged to contact Crimestoppers at (318) 673-7373 or on their website at www.lockemup.org
