Small minority farmers and ranchers workshop Thursday

    A Small Minority Farmers and Ranchers, "Disadvantaged but Not Forgotten" Workshop III will be held from 9 am to noon Thursday at the Salvation Army Boys and Girls Club located at 2821 Greenwood Road in Shreveport, LA.

  New resources will be shared concerning the Farm Services Agency (FSA), Rural Development (RD) and Natural Resources and Conservation Services (NRCS). This interactive workshop will give information to enhance  growth opportunities.

This one-day seminar is presented by the MicroEnterprise Institute (MEI) and Scroggins Consulting. The workshop is free to the public and all area minority farmers and ranchers are encouraged to attend.  Seating space is limited and attendees are encouraged to preregister.
