Suspect wanted in Texarkana armed robbery

Texarkana Texas Police have identified one of two suspects involved in a convenience store robbery earlier this month.
Texarkana Texas Police have identified one of two suspects involved in a convenience store robbery earlier this month.

Authorities believe Calvin Whaley, 33, may have robbed a business in the 5100 block of Summerhill Rd. back on Jan. 17.

Whaley and another suspect allegedly entered the stored armed with a gun and demanded cash from the clerk.  The suspects then fled on foot after taking an undisclosed amount of money and several packages of cigarettes.

Whaley is a black male, stands about 5'10" and weighs 160 lbs. He goes by the nickname of "C-Note", has a tattoo on his neck and acne scarring on his face. 

Whaley is considered armed and dangerous and is believed to be staying at an unknown residence in the Texarkana area.  He also has a warrant for parole violation. 

Anyone with information on Whaley's whereabouts is urged to call 9-1-1 or Crime Stoppers at (903) 793-7867.
