The Taste of Culture has been a yearly event since 2006 and Loreta Leavitt, Multicultural Center of the South President, says it gets bigger each year.
"Every year we attract all kinds of people and they come from different places like Monroe, Reston, and of course, Texas and they bring their relatives", said Leavitt.
The Taste of Culture brings together different ethnic and social groups with food samples, dance and music performances, and a silent auction.
Patricia Wyatt, a Bossier native, said "Oh it's a combination of wonderful food but it's also like a fashion show and a dance recital put together. The entertainment has been wonderful."
Tickets were 50 dollars and proceeds will go to the Multicultural Center of the Souths youth outreach programs.
