Tension is mounting on Capitol Hill on what to do with the thousands of unaccompanied minors who are pouring over the U.S. Mexican border.
Senator David Vitter and Congressman Bill Cassidy have both introduced legislation to address the crisis.
Congressman Cassidy says the white house needs to do more to secure the border.
"I do not think the Obama administration is doing enough. I think that when the president was drinking beer and shooting pool instead of visiting the border, it kind of captured their attitude," Says Congressman Cassidy.
Congress continues to debate an emergency funding measure.
Both parties remain hopeful that an agreement can be reached before the August recess.
