The public will decide what happens to Caddo Common Park

It's been an empty lot in downtown for years, now the public can decide what goes up in Caddo Common.

The Shreveport Regional Arts Council wants your input for design and amenities for the 1.3 acre park between Texas Avenue, Cotton, and Common Streets.

The broken concrete is gone and replaced by an uncommon green space designed by a landscape architect with a local artist team.

SRAC says this is a great way to see local ideas and local talent to come together.

It's a collaborative effort between the city and Caddo parish.

Popular ideas so far are to design the area for picnics, concerts, biking and jogging.
