The United Supreme Council is coming to Shreveport

A week long convention featuring an organization that actively participates in community projects benefiting the needy is coming to Shreveport.

A religious organization is hosting a national convention and this morning a press conference took place - announcing all the details.

The United Supreme Council of the Ancient and Accepted Rite is coming to Shreveport. It's a non-profit organization that includes Masonic Grand Lodges and Grand Chapters across the United States. Hundreds of men and women from over twenty states will convene in Shreveport for the week long event August 2nd- 8th.

The week long event will feature the Heroines of Jericho's 100th birthday parade. As well as a luncheon for homeless women with a cloth closet for them to shop without money. Plus many sizable donations to local non-profit organizations will also take place during the week. 

The M.W. Universal Grand Lodge and Star of Hope Grand Lodge will host the national convention. On August 3rd they will kick off the convention with a parade.
