Thousands of dollars in seized drug asset funds presented to BCPD

The Bossier/Webster District Attorney's Office presented the Bossier City Police Department with a $9,500 check in funds from property seized in more than 20 drug investigations conducted by the Bossier Combined Narcotics Task Force.
The Bossier/Webster District Attorney's Office presented the Bossier City Police Department with a $9,500 check in funds from property seized in more than 20 drug investigations conducted by the Bossier Combined Narcotics Task Force.

Assistant District Attorney Charles Jacobs presented the department with the check representing assets seized from suspects in 21 narcotics investigations from Dec. 2013 through March of this year.

Those assets included items such as cash, vehicles and other property. The police department will use the money to fund future drug enforcement operations.
